What kilbo says is accurate, although a better question would be: Why abandon iTunes for Windows Media Player?

I'll grant you one thing: Windows Media Player is ubiquitous. I used it as my audio hub for a long time. But iTunes (and especially the coverflow feature) is *SO* much better. If you don't want iTunes, may I suggest Songbird or some other application? You're really slumming if you go with WMP.
