I would also say it's a lot harder to accidentally turn on a chainsaw than to accidentally fire a gun.

I'm pretty sure I fired a gun before I ever used a chainsaw, though.

Assuming the gun is just lying on a table, sure. But a good gun safe or trigger lock will make it much harder to operate than a chainsaw. -- nm - ReluctantCynic Feb 16, 15:20
