I found the fact that human part to be perfect. I thought exploring it further would have watered it down or made it trite. The movie basically presented as fact that humans had become so obsessed with comfort and leisure that they couldn't even get out of chairs (and didn't even need to). I loved the presentation, personally. No need to delve deeper, just show it for what it is
