Not to say that the other films aren't worthy (that's I'll leave to personal opinions. Some certainly are). But, aside from Slumdog and Button, the nominated films are small (BO-wise) which seems to limit their hopes.

Which means it's basically Slumdog vs Button. And Button's reception is somewhat mixed if you look at B2.

As to all the guilds, cinematography, editing, etc, I can't speak to that - I don't even know what makes good cinematography and editing.

And you never know what will happen Sunday.
