Yet it sure seemed through out the entire movie, he was still in love with his actions from that day.

i don't buy it for a moment that he feels his accomplishment wasn't impacted by 9/11 in some form.
Failing to actually touch on 9/11 somehow made him even more a dickhead in my mind.
