I was always able to be periodically cutthroat in sorting and donating/tossing; but I got extra so ahead of buying my condo last year (pre-knee badness). knowing inspectors had to be able to see every inch/every corner was the key.
I always keep a bag of soft donations and a box for harder ones at the ready; and I've accumulated even more to go now, just need to take them. that'll help a lot.
next up is a fairly crazy magazine backlog, which has grown larger than the usual amount I allow myself to keep. I've already decided that I won't do free or really inexpensive subscriptions for magazines with coupons anymore; free isn't so free sometimes when there's extra work involved!
your post on b2 reminded me to go find a place I can donate extra girly stuff, for women in shelters, near work, woo! most places that take them have only weekday hours, so it was a thing. thanks!
