employees use our deck since parking was going to be so expensive and we're just a block away. astros folks made this request at a meeting about one of our company events that was going to be held there around the same timeframe.
as thanks, they said to the entire room there (about 6 of us)... we'd like to give you 10 or so tickets to the concert. the head of communications said she'd arrange taking care of that and we all thanked them.
that wretched shitbag took all the tickets, gave a few to some high ranking people at the company that she was trying to suck up to, and kept the rest for herself. most of the folks promised them were making around $30k/year, give or take.. they couldn't afford $400 tickets. she was making $200k+, and the people she gave them to were making millions.
she got fired a few months after for being a complete screw up at all time, so her bribes got her nowhere. made me feel slightly better.
i didn't want to go, but other people seemed really excited. i felt terrible for them.
