Ok...this one I'm with. The whole parents responsible for minors.

It may seem overbearing and unfair to a specific set of parents but in these cases I think that setting an example actually works as deterrent.
I kind of go back and forth on the parents being hauled in for kids truancy but at the same time, I'm kind of old enough to believe that once upon a time, parents would have taken responsibility without needing legal consequences.
