no and yes. i still have the standalone client, but my usual access is directly via IE and dsl.

i just opened aol (which still has its uses for me); and the ads are blocked within it, too.

i know i had the ads blocked at hsx/tt; but i thought that was via zedo or fastclick or doubleclick or whatever and not google itself. those show as blocked, so maybe the same deal is here. i'll need to experiment at some point.
