every movie and TV show that refers to the Irish mafia in any way, is really about Whitey Bulger.
I remember very well his reign, and his escape.
His brother Billy Bulger was Speaker of the House in Massachusetts. can you imagine? My dad actually worked with Billy for a particular piece of legislation back in the 80s. My dad liked Billy a lot.
