Meg news alert: we have an archaeologist in my camp this week. He's been finding heaps of stone tools, and today we found the quarry

chipped chert axeheads, knives, and the like. He says of the thousands of sites he's surveyed, it's probably only the third or fourth quarry.

he certainly does cultural management, but I'm not sure if that's all. he's working for one of the land councils at the moment.
