they've tried to make a point of it, several times now, of making it seem that the two of them are actually keeping the status quo. But then, one or two episodes later, they have an episode like last night.
The writers need to commit one way or another. Or lighten them both up quite a bit when it comes to their relationship. It just gets uncomfortable and odd.
and like you said, it really is the one flaw of the show.
