(first season wasn't o-d.)

especially with my aged and low-tech tv, it's harder to see details in darker scenes, plus there's no closed-captioning there. (it took me way too long to figure-out how to see it on HBO's app, oops.)

the only iPad downside, aside from size (duh), is that volume only goes so high; and when sound mixing is an issue, that can be a thing vs. tv.
