Well f*ck, that happened. Ashlee had a seizure earlier. We're at the hospital, and she's doing fine now, but talk about a scary thing.

We had just finished dinner and she was sitting on the couch with my dad as I was putting the leftovers away. Connor jumped up on the couch and started tickling her, I'd just looked over and it looked like she was pretending to be "shocked" by his tickling, it took me about half a second for the image to register in my head that something was wrong. Talk about surreal. Psych was playing on the tv. Declan was running around playing Buzz Lightyear, my dad was praying the rosary (as is his after dinner practice), Connor was still laughing and tickling his mom, and there was Ashlee having a seizure.

And then it just kicked in, what I needed to do; it lasted for a few minutes, by the time she had stopped convulsing and started breathing normally the Fire Department was there, and then the paramedics right behind them.

Like I said, she's fine now, talking and joking, and we're just waiting for her lab and CT Scan results to come back to see if she needs to be admitted or not. And hopefully get some answers.
