Had a seizure when I was nine years old as a kid while travelling in the middle of nowhere Iowa. Freaked my parents out. Lots of tests over the next couple of years. Never had another one again. And they never found a definative cause for it. I was on ritalin at the time and that's been the assumed but never proven cause. No noticeable long term effects.
It might have just been a random one off never to happen again event.
