he just doesn't like any of the characters because of their flaws - nothing admirable - which is true mostly ... so ... there's that I suppose

I just like the nostalgic aspect of life in the 60's - it brings back lots of memories for me - and I do like the writing and flawed characters ... I'm more mellow about people's human flaws I guess than my friend who's perfect. :)
