the whole thing was alternately listless and staged. The "band" could have been playing tunes from Sesame Street for all they cared - there's the cool rock indifference look and then there's the band that's there for a pay check.

The place was half full.

Gone was any spark she may have had. Life clearly has clamped down on her and is just holding her under water until it's over.

We walked into the show in progress and not one full song had been butchered (she can not sing) and one former riotgrrllll from the audience was being carried out by multiple security. She was putting up one of the better fights I'd seen in those situations.

It was all just massively sad.

We later went to the club next door where the bass player appeared and was totally different. He was with a small party and appeared very engaging/engaged.
