Had Korean food for the first time. Bimbambob or something like that.

Hot pot with rice, beef, some kind of baby squash (I think), carrots, mushrooms, and an egg on top. The pot was sizzling, like a fajita. There was a red sauce I put on top then mixed it all up. Very good stuff. Came with 6 "sides" - kimchi, radishes kimchee-ed, smokey-flavored bean sprouts, pumpkin (prepared like butternut squash), slightly underdone black beans, and a scallion pancake (but soft). There was a starter - a bbq 'd fish (I think she said it was kingfish) - whole!

There's a Korean place a few blocks from my house that I'll need to check out. Before now I was afraid to try it. We stopped tonight on a whim before I gassed up the rental car in San Bruno.

Now I'm off to security and my gate for the flight home. I don't wanna go back!
