I did this (still do) and always used my e-brake on past cars, with the brake set by hand; but my current car (camry) has it done by foot, and I don't

do it unless it's a steeper incline, or I have to park close to something in front of me. sucker is hard to use for me - that side has the fake hip, and I have to contort some to use it.
