It is so effing hot outside, the ac can't keep up--108F

Yesterday it was 111 this time of day. I was in the living room, it faces west and I realized my pulse was racing, I was so dizzy I could hardly stand up and I wasn't sweating. I had gotten nauseated a few hours before and stopped drinking. I checked the wall thermometer and it was 92. I realized that I was having heat exhaustion in my own living room! So I just got in the shower, made it nice and cool, and stayed there for about 30 minutes.

Our house is like 110 years old and it doesn't have central air, we have 3 window units. The bedrooms are fine, but I think we need to replace the LR. I mean we only need ac 5 or 6 weeks of the year, but I can't not go to my living room, right? We're supposed to be in the hundreds all the rest of this week. Normally, this doesn't happen til late July/early August. Heck, It was barely in the 70s until Thursday.

Calgon, take me away
