In response to "Holy reinventing the fantasy football wheel, Batman. " by Stephen

I don't get the pint of the practice squad.

Wouldn't it just be telling the rest of the league "I like these guys so you should probably take one of them when you need a new player?"

Do you need to keep 2 defenses all season? Can you put one on the practice squad if that passes? If someone takes a practice squad player of yours do you get the player they drop or are you a (non-active) player down? If someone takes your 2nd defense from the practice squad and you don't have a replacement defense by game time( and you're required to have 2), do you get an automatic loss that week? How large is your bench?

Why weeks 2-7 for the double-headers? Is it a way to dissuade someone from rostering some combo of Doug Martin, Peterson, and RGIII (all bye week 5). It's bad enough to have your best players on bye, but that doubles it up for probably 4 of the top QBs and maybe 3 of the top RBs. A few top WRs and the top TE as well.

Next year, as soon as the dates are known for rules change proposals, set your self some reminders. I'm sure google and yahoo can send reminders to or email and you can probably do it for your cellphone as well. Set one for the first day you can do it, then another for two days later (in case you're too busy the first day).
