12 eps is a bit much for a "mini-series", doncha think? I think they're just copying the USA/TNT/AMC model that they cribbed from the BBC.

I'd love it if all shows had one or 2 seasons a year. Maybe that way we could get some good dramas instead of the watered down pap and reality bullshit we get in the fall and spring. I'd also like to see regular network shows on at least 2 times per week. Instead of limiting people's views because of conflicts, I think the audience would expand. Of course they'd have to seriously start counting DVR 0+1 and 0+7. It astounds me that Neilson still doesn't do it. 75% of what I watch is 1-3 days after airing. Heck, JenBro and I could keep Bravo in buisness just by ourselves.
