To be fair, I track my spending to make sure my overall spending stays within my monthly income.

(saving? in NYC? ha!)
I create budgets but don't really track my actual spending against the categories usually. I should. I need to now. July will be the first time I am actually home in NYC for a full month. No business trip. No per diem. Brother visiting for six days. My budget will die. I am terrified of reality.
