So far, aside from the addition of 5(?) new cars (Mercedes and Bentley), it sucks.
They've dumbed down the repair mechanics, locked certain races until you progress in your "career," whereas before if you had the money to buy a car you unlocked the races that they raced in (if you've already bought cars the events they race in are still open), included daily time trials, which really add nothing to the actual game play; you have to use Drive points to do these time trial events, you get one drive point every however minutes....
And they seem to have made, at least in the early stage races i've done since the update, the competition...weak. I actually lapped the entire field in one race.
Overall, just lame updates that really hurt what was a pretty decent racing simulation game. It definitely has more of an arcade game feel to it now.
