around 1 in 1000 babies have it, so pretty common.

pretty much always addressed surgically, one way or another; and outcome depends on which part of the skull is impacted and if there are any underlying issues that can be related to that condition.
some doctors have started to go away from more invasive surgeries to using endoscopy.
