Chipotle was supposed to give management support for a year, but they pulled out after a couple of months. they said it was because they were losing money - no duh, one new restaurant alone can have that at first, let alone three; and at least the Mall of America location seemed a poor choice to me, for multiple reasons. really, the whole three restaurants at once, in widespread locations, thing seemed a really bad idea on its own. and, reportedly, they didn't even give the guy good-quality help.
