They were the other I was thinkin in my post, but that Harden trade has me reconsidering their brilliance

really, we can count on 1 hand the number of teams who don't make you wonder why their GM has a job.
And it's why the middle-ranged teams (the Atlanta's, the Milwaukee's, the Nuggets (those teams that aren't going to win a title but aren't going to regress without blowing it up) are stuck in mid-level hell.
Most of the talent is static, either at the very top of the draft or it's always pre-ordained to go to one of those 5-6 key franchises.
