$20k to patrol the beaches. Instead of looking at it as 'we're saving $50k out of $70k for the show so we'll pay the $20 and let the city enjoy 4th of July', they want the $20k too. Disgusting.

Sounds reasonable to me. Should the city be forced to provided large security for any private function just becuase they used to be able to afford it
