That 2007 Gainesville shooting article posted a few days ago has me wondering just how prevalent NFL players shooting people is.

Because that read to me like Reggie Nelson was probably the shooter in a near murder a few months after being drafted 21st overall. At best he was standing next to Hernandez when Hernandez did the shooting.
I doubt that type of violence springs from nowhere. Yet he was a first round pick by a team in the same state he was born in and went to school in. That seems like some bad scouting by Jacksonville.
