Season 3 and the start of season 4 lost me (spoils)

Season 3 ends with Tony ordering Meadow's boyfriend killed, and her basically knowing that it happened.
Season 4 starts with her at the house basically like nothing went wrong.
I don't care how much time elapsed, that just didn't ring true to me; and Meadow just never seemed that sociopathic.
