I have avoided this trial like the plague so I honestly don't know.

All I've seen today is that everyone agrees that having him take the stand was a needless risk in a trial that has gone quite well for the defense.
I will add that most TV analysts thought that the OJ conviction was a mortal lock right up until he was announced as innocent so I am always skeptical about this sort of analysis.
