I', sorry about your loss. are we sure his death was related to the rash? my first guesses would be an allergic reation or infection. an allergic

reaction if left alone and it worsens to involve the respiratory system (swelling impeding the airway) could easily cause death quickly. an infection on the other hand would normally take a little longer, but if bad enough (sepsis) could also be rapid once it gets rolling.
