In response to "TX will pass it alright, but it motivates more people. Everyone doubted me a year ago when I said social issue would dominate 2012 election cycle" by MDH

It...didn't dominate the 2012 election cycle unless you talk about the GOP picking 2 or 3 bad candidates and the GOP running a lifeless campaign

You got Akin and you got Murdoch in Indiana being fucktards.

But you had many national GOPers who didn't sound like knuckle-draggers and still lost becuase the national tone was Romney's lifeless catering to business and the GOP not having any plan of what they wanted to be other than they wanted to not be Barack Obama.

2012 was a much nationally about the 47% as it was anything else.

This fight over abortion...this is not a winning argument for the Democrats. Why? Cuz their path to winning the future is in the latino immigrant votes...wanna guess what groups are more anti-abortion than most? Latino groups.

Nothing will have changed in Texas in a few weeks other than they will have a well-funded losing Democratic governor nominee now instead of a sacrificial lamb.
