he debuted only ~5 weeks ago. June was remarkable, but his playing shiny has been slipping (not that it ever was quite as much for defense as offense); and the last couple of weeks, at least, he's been coming across as personally more unshiny than not. go check this week's headlines alone, as I did for a second when I just went to find his start date. they include things like "immature" "doing stupid things" and "arrogant" - oh yah, bring that on!
when there are other players in the mix who've been playing well most or all of the entire season or longer, and/or who are popular (which, for better or worse is part of the deal), it's not a clear thing.
if he keeps-up his play, we'll see him next year. (really, he may still be asked if something changes with another selection this year.)
