several years ago, I ordered Peter Pan whipped pb online and really liked it - because it's whipped, you can use less of it (so less calories and fat) and still get a lot of flavor and good mouth feel.
Jif's is inferior to the PP, but it's still tolerable. it's super fluffy, almost too much as it's bordering on seeming fake; and, most unfortunately, its flavor doesn't pack the same punch as either the PP or regular Jif.
it looks like they're encouraging it be used as a dip or in recipes, in addition to as a spread.
I only tried the plain, so far, not the chocolate.
grade: s, for 'sallright.
I bought it at Target; and it was in their ad last week, so it's likely nationwide now or will be soon.
(mememe: walmart.com says the PP version is available at a store near my mom's - will def. try to find it, as amazon's prices are crazy; and Hometown Favorites, where I purchased in the past, no longer carries it.)
