I would actually recommend you go ahead and work in the main quest here and there. You don't want to risk getting burned out and not complete it.

Did you get the Legendary Edition? Hearthfire is fun in a more hardcore The Sims kind of way.

Dawnguard is SERIOUS BUSINESS. It can end up taking way longer than the main quest.

I bought, but actually never played Dragonborn. I'm really into my 3DS now, but I love Skyrim enough I may try to get back to it someday.
