if it's true that up to 50-60% of cable costs are for sports channels, I may already be paying that or more. ugh.

I'd definitely pay more for the local-centric cable channels that have giants and a's games than espn; but I'd have to add in the other channels for playoff games that are now on cable - that really sucks.
