muscle ability or body shape?....

muscle ability of the tummy depends on coordination with the other muscles like back...try propping your elbows and doing knee lifts instead of sit ups, or when you lay on your back lift a leg then the other.

as for body shape, yeah the fat that collects on the tummy is a different type afaik and the hardest to lose and six pack abs are a real sign of dedication and long term commitment and near starvation low fat diet
