it will get discouraging, but if you keep in mind *why* you don't see big improvements quickly it is easier to stick with it because you know you're

really moving forward.

1. pay attention to how you feel. you said you are doing more push ups. that is progress even if you can't see it, you can feel it

2. don't think about weight as a number (I know it's difficult) think about how you feel and how your clothes feel. as was said on b2, muscle weighs more than fat so you won't see big number drops in weight as you get healthier. that does not matter, what matters is how you feel.

3. dieting sucks but without it you may not see the changes you are looking for. remember dieting doesn't mean starving, it means eating healthy. I eat more when I am working out, but I'm eating better
