I've read the books - I was wondering about the perspective of someone who's only seen the show

She's certainly one of the three most disliked among people who've read the books - along with Sansa and Daenerys.
Every decision she makes turns out to be bad, but from the beginning of the books we see her family get killed or lost one by one, so I don't blame her for being crabby all the time.
