16 days and several e-mail exchanges later, including a couple that didn't address what I said and one in which they chastised me for sending the gc number via e-mail (me: there was no need to not share, as *it has no value* because of the fraud), the latest had them send me to a special gift card phone number, where I would be given help to replace my card.

call the number, must enter the gc number to proceed, the gc number isn't recognized, and there's no other option. lather, rinse, repeatedly tear (overdark, don't ask) hair out.

another e-mail it is!
