doesn't seek any exoneration and there are no excuses.
those thoughts do not go together. of course, he's seeking.
his comments there lead me to think he still needs help understanding his actions and their impact.
I did, however, learn from the comments of others that the grandfather was scumbag, too - I wondered who'd been paying the life insurance and why only the two daughters were mentioned. someone found a news story that said the grandfather paid, only after the wife agreed to only have the biological daughters on the policy, so not the adopted boys.
