He never read any comics and didn't know the character.

He told of flying into Toronto and being asked by the border guard why he was entering the country. He told her that he was an actor and was going to film a movie. She asked what character and when he told her, she freaked. That was the first time he had any idea of what he was in for.

He did a great job and later when I saw him do a musical number on some talk show, I was shocked because I never would have suspected that the guy playing Logan would be into that.
