oh, and Bery: not my company. the sacred sites are a weird one, because literally anything can be sacred.

like a tree, an outcrop of rock, a dingo, a particular termite mound. the weirdest one I know is a single rock about the size of a phone book in the middle of a farmer's field. the dreamings are also kind of constantly in a state of flux as well, so what's sacred can change a fair bit. that being said, that one is pretty big, and what those guys did was a pretty big fuckup. I'm a little surprised they were allowed to mine so close to a sacred site. we're mostly not allowed near them. we don't even know exactly where most of them are, they're just given to us as broad no-go areas on maps.
