I don't like him and I don't root for him but what has he done that should get him banned for next season or for life?

If he's proven to have used PEDs then that should mean a 50 game suspension and not a day more.
If taken to an arbitrator I'm pretty sure that's what he'll get no matter what MLB wants to hand down.
