speaking of ... spoilerish (?) question inside ....

ok, so this week, a pregger lady experiences something "and it did something to my baby!"
cut to a quick scene in the commercial advertisements of the two kids "who are connected to each other and the dome" , and they're out in the woods, and there's something weird in a pile of leaves ... and What In THe WOrld Is That ??? ....
I haven't read the book, but I don't mind your spoiling me on this one ... is the dome going to zap the baby out of the woman's womb and into a "nature womb" out in the woods or something, thus giving birth to someone or something connected with the dome's existence, etc?
