Everything is okay. He basically said that due to a promotion at work and his involvement in the community, ST was one of the things that sort of took a back seat. (Better productivity at work with no personal 'net time, etc.) I think the temporary break gradually became permanent over time.
He seems well and said he wasn't angry with anyone here/there weren't any specific issues. Just time for a break that became a long-term thing.
