So, I rarely do this, but I'd like some advice of a personal nature.

I had a friend in high school, we'll call her Carol, who was in the grade ahead of me. We were just friends, even though we went to prom together her senior year. I hadn't talked to her until two weeks ago, when she got in contact with me saying she was visiting Myrtle Beach with some friends. We met up and had dinner, which I paid for, but I left for Philadelphia the next day and got back after she left.
The problem: she's been emailing me nonstop since. Even while she was still in MB and I was out of town, at least one email a day. While I was away I didn't respond, as I was very busy, and the first few days back I wrote back. She keeps asking non-sequitur questions about what I've been up to in the past decade and about how I like my job. She asked to come back down in October, but I'll be out of town. When I finally stopped responding, she started sending emails to my other accounts. It's annoying.
Using today's slang, it's obvious she's "thirsty". I'm not interested in the slightest. Do I be a jerk and just stop responding? Say in an email she should stop being crazy? Something else?
