Yes. I'm being picky about the wording of the article's recommendation to read to your child. I also recommend reading to your child!

But I don't back up the recommendation by overstating an unfounded correlation between reading to a child and their future success.

I say read to your child because it's a period in their life that will end like a breeze you didn't notice blowing. Teaching them that love is demonstrated by service and time is a lasting lesson that will serve them the rest of their life, in all of their important relationships.
