Something from an earlier link makes me hope they really get someone new in charge of casting.

It was a quote from Kat talking about how she knew nothing about Survivor before being on the show. With all the people who are fans that would love to be on the show, many of them would likely be very good players. It would actually be impressive when someone wins, or even makes it to the end, instead of the caveat of "sure, but they played against morons."
